K52 52" Professional Upright (Vertigrand)
This is Steinway's tallest upright piano (or vertigrand as the factory refers to it) is 52" high and has an impressive depth depth of sound since it accomodates a huge soundboard and very long strings. The soundboard surface area and string length are close to that of a 5'10" Steinway model O grand piano. Model K Steinways can truly be "duelled" in performance with a Steinway baby grand - with the audience not normally being able to guess which piano is being played. This is the ultimate upright piano made, has no equal and is perfect for a space-limited situation where tone and touch cannot be sacrificed.
