Boston "GSU" UP118S (SOLD)
This is a Steinway-designed "Performance Edition" Boston studio upright piano that was gently used at Georgia State University's School of Music. It was part of their annual piano loan program, a long-standing partnership between Steinway Piano Galleries and GSU.
It is in immaculate new condition both technically and furniture-wise since it's less than 2 years old. The piano still includes the original manufacturer's 10 year parts and labor warranty from Steinway.
The Boston UP118S is Steinway's most popular upright piano by far, and is found in numerous institutions as well as homes. It is a 46" tall professional upright with a solid spruce soundboard and is designed with 30+ patents and features by Steinway & Sons in New York.
The instrument carries a 10 year warranty for peace of mind and includes a matching bench. The first tuning in the home is free. It also includes a 15 year full trade-up certificate towards a new Steinway grand or upright piano.
As an alternative, consider the brand new Boston UP120S upright model - a slightly taller piano in a choice of ebony polish or walnut satin cabinetry.
