The G-series pianos at the time (currently the GC-series) were a step up from their entry level baby grands. This G3 at 6'1" in length has a larger soundboard and longer strings than the typical small baby grand, thus producing a bigger sound. Also, the action is more responsive than smaller grands with shorter overall key length.
At a list price of more than $30K for a new GC series piano, this is also a great value. The bench is included, as well as a free first tuning in the home and a five year parts & labor warranty for complete peace of mind.
