SOLD! This Kawai KG1E Ebony Polish baby grand piano was just traded in for a new Boston GP178 Performance Edition II grand piano. At more than $40K for the new replacement, it is a great value.

It has gone through the usual technical and cabinet inspection that all our pre-owned pianos go through prior to being available for sale. It is in very nice condition, both inside and out. At 5'5" in length, it has a bigger tone and more responsive touch than the very small baby grands, yet is made to fit in small spaces.

This particular one is in the classic ebony polish finish with a traditional straight leg cabinet, which is the most popular baby grand style and color.

The KG series pianos at the time this was manufactured (late 1980/1990's) are equivalent to the current GX-series Kawai grands. This one is much lower in price though, due to it being a trade-in. They were also among Kawai's better quality pianos at the time, not part of the entry level (which was the GE-series).

The piano comes with a 5-year parts & labor warranty, matching bench and the first tuning in the home for free. Also included is a 10-year full trade agreement towards a future new Steinway grand purchase.

Also consider as an alternative a new Boston GP163 5'5" Performance Edition II baby grand, designed by Steinway & Sons in a similar size, but with 30+ design patents and innovations from the famous NY manufacturer.
