This slightly used Boston GP178 Ebony Polish 5'10" "Performance Edition II" baby grand piano is in factory new condition. Received new in April 2025, it has been only lightly used in the store and is in technically perfect condition. The piano carries Steinway's 10-Year Parts & Labor Boston Warranty.

Our senior Steinway-trained technician prepared it after arrival, and has since meticulously cared for it in the store. 

Steinway's Boston Performance Edition II series was a recent upgrade from the original Boston GP178 nearly 30 years ago. Encased in a classic and elegant ebony polish finish, it will fit beautifully into any decor. With it's wide tail design, it has longer strings and a larger soundboard than other similar sized grands, and thus a bigger sound and better action.

Designed by Steinway & Sons, the instrument encompasses over 30 specific design patents and features from the storied New York piano manufacturer. Built to Steinway's extremely high quality standards and design specifications, this particular piano represents the absolute best value currently in a premium keyboard instrument for the discriminating individual.
