Baldwin M Walnut Satin
Here is a great example of a Baldwin M Walnut Satin 5'2" Artist Grand in great shape. And it looks gorgeous in its walnut satin case - an understated elegance that differs from the shiny black cabinets of most new pianos!
Baldwin, for many decades, was one of the best selling and highest quality pianos in America. Originally a U.S. piano manufacturer (unlike the current Baldwins under new ownership and manufactured in a completely different off-shore factory), they crafted pianos in a range of prices from mid-level to the most expensive concert grands.
The "Artist Grand" was their top of the line model series. It was often compared to hand built Steinways in their day, but at a lower cost.
This particular one was built in their Truman, Arkansas factory at the time. It was always their best sounding scale design for a mid sized baby grand for the home or studio.
It includes a warranty, matching bench and the first tuning in the home is free of charge. It also includes a 15-Year Full-trade Certificat to a new Steinway grand!
As an alternative, also consider a new Boston GP156 5'1" baby grand, designed by Steinway & Sons.
